Garnacha/Grenache – Gouache

VIDARTIS

Vidartis is an innovative project that unites agriculture and art, where our grape juice concentrate is used as a pigment in different graphic expression techniques. This art connects viewers to grapes and roots, creating a unique, vibrant, and innovative project that serves as an ambassador for the land.

Julián Soler company, based in Quintanar del Rey (Cuenca, Castilla-La Mancha), has been specialising in the manufacture and export of concentrated grape since 1968. As part of its commitment to innovation and social responsibility, the company is promoting a new project. The idea originated during the lockdown (Covid-19) when project director Ana Soler Sánchez experimented with grape must for creating Christmas cards and decided to develop it further.

In conclusion, Grenache-Violet Gouache produces intriguing color mixtures, especially when paired with low-tinting colors that allow it to stand out. The resulting effects are influenced by the binder used, which contributes to the gouache’s plasticity. The atmospheric quality of some of the mixtures lends a distinct organic hue that resembles the colors of the atmosphere.
